Interestingly, Internet marketing does not necessarily generate more money for more work, thus the hobbyist may far surpass the full time Internet world wide web business person. Not outside the realm of possibility, the hobby Internet Marketing blogger of today may be the next yacht owner of tomorrow. Probably not.
Online Internet marketing comes in many forms. Personally, I prefer to do mine with a website. My vanity is such that I am constantly intrigued with a basic truth. No matter if you are a man with a million dollars, or someone with only the change in your pocket and an Internet connection, everyone starts out with an identical situation when it comes to enriching oneself on this thing we call the Internet. Everyone begins with a….blank page. What you put on that page spells your Internet success or your Internet doom.
Please be advised that often family and friends neither understand or appreciate your pursuit of online marketing excellence.
At no time in human history has collective mankind been so situated on the playing board of life. Whether prince or pauper, everyone begins with that blank, glowing white page. It’s fantastic!
Little Sally Simpson, sitting in the living room of a well worn 1968 mobile home, with a notebook computer and a hosting account in Mudbrook, Iowa has a better idea than Harvard trained advertising specialist Rupert Moneybrook of Stuffage, Massachusetts, who owns a 396 foot long yacht. By cleverly using the Internet she goes on to own that yacht some day. Moneybrook, on the other hand, winds up with a well worn 1968 mobile home, hopefully much the wiser in the wily ways of the Internet marketing whiz kids.
In a world gone money mad, the Internet is no respecter of money. It respects and rewards brains, inventiveness, uniqueness, and courage. It revels in in doggedness. It gives. It takes. It’s like an eight foot diameter pipe spewing forth a stream of sun hot opportunity, where only a spoonful is enough to power a lifetime of security. Many come, spoon in hand, but few go away with even a drop of the shiny goodness… But some do.
For winners of the Internet marketing lottery, online marketing is a reliable business. So reliable that it works like an old fashioned marketing agency. For others, it is panning for gold, in that a nugget comes along every once in awhile, which is enough to keep the mind and body going in the search for the next great affiliate marketing campaign.
Citizens who practice search engine marketing are not creatures of habit. They are creatures of traffic. Traffic is the lifeblood of the Internet. Paid traffic, free traffic, targeted traffic, and no traffic. Blessed indeed is the Internet marketer with targeted traffic.Somewhat less blessed is he or she with only a minimal following on social media. More blessed is the adherent of excellent search engine marketing techniques. The most blessed are those who practice wildly successful Internet marketing techniques of which their marketing kith and kin know not.
In the ways of the net, there really is something new under the sun about every 18 hours or so. It’s called the WSO. Look it up.
Professional online marketers who succeed, all practice safe search engine optimization techniques and would never stoop to keyword stuffing in their article marketing pursuits just to reach the top of the Google search page. Well, not much.
When asked, Internet marketers proudly proclaim, “Online business is my business! PM me!” Denizens of the Internet marketing ways are not afraid to ask what PM means.
But regardless if you have traffic, or whether you are a ’49er, or a man, or woman of Internet borne substance, you must keep one thing in mind. Making money on the Internet is hard, no matter what the get rich quick purveyors tell you. Making money on the net is no picnic. While a day of Internet marketing is not as hard as ten minutes of ditch digging, at least, at the end of the day of digging, the ditch digger will most likely get his supper money. There is no such guarantee for us Internet marketers! It’s always feast or famine.
Likely as not, a curious Internet marketer will invest his last earnings into the next latest best great thing, scoffing at the ever present danger of information overload. Twitter that!
Real Internet marketers belong to a special society of freedom… The freedom to succeed and the freedom to fail. The freedom to set their own path. The Internet is the last best hope for true capitalism and Internet marketers are the true believers. It is the neighborhood lemonade stand and the mega corp standing side by side.
The Internet Marketer Society of Freedom meets every day in a virtual sort of way in a variety of popular places around the Internet. Jolly rivals, those Internet marketers, they come together to give hints of how they do what they do, sometimes to competitors who will use that information to do it to them but good. It’s just another part of the often lonely business of making money on the Internet.
Internet Marketing Affiliate serves as another way station for Internet Marketers to catch up on the latest information, gossip, and guff before they move on along to take up their strained vigils, staring at the ever changing information on the square screen.
If you are still reading this, you don’t have enough to do, my friend. Come with me as weekly, as I make the crooked web marketing ways straight with ever changing pixels of pertinent information for your enjoyment and enrichment! Then, let’s get to work!
